The same reason why the lids are difficult to remove are also what makes it secure. Considering our buckets carry 5kg or 20kg of products in them, they need to be secure to avoid spillage. They do become a lot easier to use after the seal is removed.
We have reluctantly after several decades of providing free shipping, needed to start passing on some of the cost to customers due to the sharp and continuing increase in shipping costs.
Although we heavily discount shipping, we are unable to provide free shipping. Unfortunately, the shipping costs for our products doesn’t scale like many other products such as clothes or smaller goods, because they are heavy.
